Perpetual Lunar Gardening Calendar

The Moon's magnetic force pulls all that contains water: the tides of our oceans,
the blood and fluids of our bodies, and all plant life--it lets you know when to sow,
when to gather, and when to weed.
By learning to flow with the rhythm of Mother we are ensuring the best crops,
herbs and flowers and this in turn will resonate within us to create a
connection with Mother Earth such as we have never known before,
and will enrich us spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally.
The Moon travels through each one of the Zodiac signs about once a month,
she stays in one sign about 2 1/2 days before moving on to the next one.
It's never wise to plant on the day of the New Moon or Full Moon.
If you want your lawn to grow fast, cut it during new or first quarter moon.
If you want it to grow more slowly, cut it during a full or last quarter moon.

moon phases

Every New Moon represents a beginning,
just as every Full Moon is a moment of completion.

Local Daylight Hours per Day
Time... Loss of daylight slows down gradually reaching 9 hours on December 8th.
Starting on the 15th and ending on the 25th, it wobbles at 8h 53m- not budging
in length- (
according to my chart from the US naval observatory in DC) when it gains
a minute more on the 26th- to reach 9 hours again by January 3rd.
By January 9th, Daylight grows more steadily on both ends.
